The lounge is sunny and spacious with
gas fire and colour TV. The adjoining conservatory
enjoys wonderful views across loch-awe and the
surrounding hillside, and is also supplied with
central heating.
Kitchen
The large fully fitted kitchen/diner
has a gas cooker, large fridge/freezer, a washing
machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle, toaster,
vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, electric
blender, and all crockery, cutlery and cooking
equipment. . A pleasant room in which to sit while
watching sheep and highland cattle graze on the
surrounding hillside.
Sleeping Accommodation
Provided in three bedrooms all with fitted
wardrobes.
Bedroom 1: king-sized double bed
Bedroom 2: twin single beds or zip linked double
Bedroom 3: two single beds
All are equipped with duvets, pillows and bed linen. Beds are made
up for the arrival of guests. Please request single or double linen
for bedroom 2.
Bathroom & Shower Room
Bathroom: bath, wc, basin, shaver point
and bath-mat.
Shower room: wc, basin and extra-wide shower unit.
A hair dryer is provided.
Towels are supplied (1 bath towel per person and 2 hand towels
per house).

Layout: all rooms are on one level, with only 3 steps up to the
main entrance and 2 steps from conservatory to garden.
Parking: There is ample parking space by the cottage
Garden: A mature garden of heathers, azaleas
and alpines surrounds this property, and a picnic
bench and garden chairs are provided. South west
facing enjoying afternoon and evening sunshine,
and wonderful wide views across Loch Awe.
Pets are not accepted.
Availability, Prices & Booking
Barr-beithe Upper is available throughout
the year including Christmas and New Year. Bookings
are accepted Saturday to Saturday mid/high season. Low season start and end dates are flexible.
Short breaks (mid-week & long weekends) are
welcomed during late autumn, winter and early
spring (low season) with an additional 10% discount
for 2 person occupancy of Barr-beithe Upper (low
season only)
